Tournament or Not Tournament?

Hi all,

we italian aslers are sicussing whether the next event should be another friendly meeting or a tournament, and we have not yet taken any decision.

What is the consensus of our esteemed colleauges about this? Or, better, would foreign players come to italy to play if the event will not be a tournament, but just a meeting?

Let us know your feeling and experiences, we just want to realize an event with the maximum possible Enjoyment Rating and that could attract players outside Italy. If you don't want to register to the forum, you could always write me at aslgheba@libero.it .

I think that tournament are often prefered by foreign players but we at the ASL Club SMC (Squad Mediterranean Club) are ready to more for any ASL event tournament or not, we don't care about this...
Anyway, when do you plan to organise this event ?

Hello Emmanuel,
We plan to organize our ASL (and only for ASLer players) meeting between September and November (bounds included ).

Another appointment will be on 27-28-29 May, BUT in this case we we'll meet at the San Marino Con (www.asgs.sm), a convention for different kind of games (role play, war games and other). We are going to use the facility offered by this con. I'll keep you informed about San Marino Con in this section.

Thanks for your reply, no problem with the delay... As soon as possible, give me all details, we'll do all our possible to be present in May.... but be carrefull with the dates, in May/June in France, there's the famous tournament from Lille (North of France), September (middle of the month) it's Arnhem Tournament and November, it's Barcelona and Grenadier
